No More News

I used to get up in the morning, make myself a cup of coffee and sit down at the laptop to catch up on the news. There are always stories about murder, rape, terrorism, death and destruction. I would skim the usual websites and of course check out the weather but in the end there is little to read in the way of good news. And it isn't like I can do anything about that other stuff.

What a way to start the day.

Lately though I have found myself just briefly checking the headlines and then heading off to my Facebook page and Blog. I NEVER thought that this social networking thing would interest me. I guess I was wrong. I find now I can start the day with checking on friends, looking for something interesting to put up on my Fans page and write a little something that's happening in my life with my morning coffee.

What a way to start the day!
